Warm and sunny weather will settle in for the first part of Spring Break, but temperatures will come down a bit Wednesday.
Highs will warm into the mid 70s throughout the day Monday – with some clouds holding on in the Heartland and Concho Valley.
Lows will cool to around 50 with partly cloudy skies, especially south of I-20.
Tuesday will be even warmer, perfect for some outdoor activities, with highs in the mid 80s. Winds will pick up from the southwest at 10 to 15 mph, ahead of our next cold front.
That cold front will arrive overnight Tuesday, bringing a windshift and even stronger winds. Look for winds at 15 to 25 mph from the north with lows in the low 40s.
Wednesday afternoon will be a cool one with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 50s.
We'll see a light freeze Wednesday night with lows around 30 degrees and mostly clear skies.
Thursday and Friday afternoon we'll begin warming a bit with afternoon temps inching back towards 70 degrees.
Saturday we'll break into the 70s with highs around 75.
Another front will arrive Saturday night with lows around 42.
Sunday afternoon temperatures will be mild, warming to around 61 degrees.
