All of West Central Texas saw some much needed rainfall on Tuesday. The cooler temperatures were a nice change of pace also.
This morning we are tracking drying weather conditions across the entire viewing area as the complex of showers that was with us yesterday has now moved off to the east. Clouds will be around this morning but a few peaks of sun are possible into Wednesday afternoon. Highs will work their way to near 60 degrees with northerly winds around 10 mph.
Tonight any remaining clouds will continue to be on the decrease leaving mostly fair skies by Thursday morning. Lows will bottom out at cool levels in the lower 40s.
Thursday mostly sunny skies return and push readings into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
To wrap up the work week on Friday, it will be partly sunny with showers and thundershowers becoming possible into the afternoon hours as another cold front approaches West Central Texas. Highs will remain below normal in the middle 60s.
The weekend looks to bring back a quieter weather regime with beautiful conditions. The forecast is for mid-October sunshine and readings climbing into the upper 60s on Saturday and the lower 70s on Sunday.
