ABILENE, Texas -

We tracking a push of slightly cooler air into our region Thursday night.  It did not bring any rain and just a few clouds.

An upper level disturbance we've been tracking since Monday is still moving towards us.  This feature should bring increasing clouds to our region during the day Friday.

Showers may form from Midland to Lubbock Friday evening, but our immediate area should be dry for football games Friday night.

Showers may move into our region before sunrise Saturday.  Look for mostly cloudy skies Saturday with a good chance of a passing shower.

We could see some thunderstorms form in areas mainly east and south of Abilene Saturday afternoon and evening.  The main dangers we are tracking are lightning and locally heavy rainfall.

Showers and storms are forecast to move east of our area before sunrise Sunday.  Partly cloudy skies are expected over our region by Sunday afternoon.

We are tracking a fairly strong cold front and associated upper level low that should move in late Tuesday or early Wednesday.  This system should bring showers and thunderstorms back to our area by Tuesday evening.
