Afternoon t'storms are possible again on Monday.
Spotty showers will dissipate through the evening hours Sunday, leaving behind clear skies. Temperatures will cool into the low 70s.
As the kids head back to school, we'll see a warm and muggy day. Moisture will continue to filter in from the Gulf of Mexico, bringing back the afternoon rain chances. Highs will warm into the mid 90s.
Any rain we see will dissipate overnight. We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies by Tuesday morning with temps in the low to mid 70s.
By the afternoon, we'll see scattered showers and t'storms develop once again. The best chance for rain will be south of I-20. With a little more cloud cover, highs will be a few degrees cooler, in the low 90s.
By Wednesday, high pressure will begin to resituate itself over the Central Plains. This will put a lid on our rain chances with highs warming into the mid 90s Wednesday afternoon.
Sunny skies will stick around through the end of the work week with afternoon temps in the upper 90s.
Lows at night will cool into the mid 70s.
As we head into the weekend, more of the same. Afternoon temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 90s with nighttime lows in the low to mid 70s.
