A disturbance brings showers to the region Friday morning but the weekend ahead looks much drier.
Through Friday afternoon, this disturbance will move off to the northeast, taking our rain chances with it.
Some of the clouds will clear out with highs warming to around 60 degrees.
Friday night, a weak cold front will sweep in, cooling things down into the lower 30s by Saturday morning.
Through the afternoon, look for sunshine and afternoon temps in the upper 40s.
Overnight, things cool back below freezing with lows in the upper 20s. By Sunday afternoon, we'll see highs back to near 60 degrees.
This warming trend sticks around into the start of next week with sunshine Monday and highs in the low 60s.
Through Thursday, we'll see more sunny skies as high pressure stays in place. By the middle of the week, look for highs warming into the upper 60s and lows in the mid 30s and low 40s.
