A line of thunderstorms is moving south through central Oklahoma Thursday evening. It should weaken a bit overnight. However, showers and thunderstorms could still move into our northern counties before sunrise Friday. Watch out for strong winds, lightning and heavy rainfall.
It is possible that showers and thundershowers could move down to I-20 before noon Friday. As we move into the afternoon hours, look for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms - especially south of I-20. Only isolated thunderstorms are expected for Friday evening.
Rain and storm chances are forecast to shift west of our area for Saturday. Dry weather is likely for Sunday and most of the week ahead.
Temperatures should be close to normal with highs in the low to middle 90s and lows around 70 for the next several days.
