We are tracking a cold front that has lost its cool air into our region Friday. Look for winds to shift to the north or northeast during the afternoon. Rain chances are very low with this front moving through.
Temperatures will still be dangerously hot Friday with high temperatures in the 102 to 105 degree range. Look for temperatures in the upper 90s to around 100 Saturday.
A second cold front that still has some milder air should move in Saturday night. High temperatures should be in the lower 90s for Sunday and much of next week.
We could see some needed rainfall early Saturday and again early Sunday. However, rain chances are currently just 20%.
