Sunshine and near normal temperatures are in the forecast for much of the week ahead.
Tonight we're tracking clear skies with temperatures cooling down into the upper 60s by daybreak.
Monday we'll see highs warming into the mid 90s, close to normal for this time of year. We're tracking mostly clear skies throughout the day with southeast winds at 10 to 25 mph.
Tuesday begins around 70 degrees before warming into the mid 90s. A disturbance will move onto the northern Mexico coast bringing showers to the southern parts of the state. Any rain looks to be too far south of our region so we'll keep our forecast dry.
Wednesday, more cloud cover is expected but the forecast continues to run dry. Expect highs in the low to mid 90s.
Thursday, more gulf moisture is on the way along with a slight chance for showers during the afternoon. We'll see highs in the low 90s with partly to mostly cloudy skies in place.
Friday we're tracking another slight chance for showers with highs in the low 90s.
Into next weekend we'll see the highs running in the low 90s thanks to a good mix of clouds and sunshine. The forecast ahead will stay dry as high pressure returns.
