Afternoon temperatures climbed back into the middle 90s in our eastern areas Friday afternoon. This warmer air is gradually moving back in from the northeast.
Look for temperatures in the low to middle 90s over our region for Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon temperatures are forecast to be in the middle to upper 90s for the week ahead.
We are tracking an upper level low near the Texas / Louisiana border Friday night. This feature could help trigger a few afternoon thundershowers in our eastern areas Saturday - mainly from Breckenridge to Brownwood. Areas around and west of Abilene will likely remain rain-free Saturday.
Isolated afternoon thundershowers could develop south of I-20 Sunday and Monday. Most of the Big Country should be dry for Sunday and Monday. Dry weather is likely for our region Tuesday through Friday.
