Sharon Riley's Corn Dish

Ingredients:
1 - 16 oz can of corn, completely drained
1 or 2 fresh jalapenos (de-veined and chopped)
1/2 medium onion chopped
1 tablespoon butter
8 oz cream cheese - cut into chunks
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation:
Sautee the onions in the butter on medium heat, when the onions start getting soft (5 minutes or so), add the chopped jalapenos. Sautee for about 4-5 more minutes, then add the corn. Add the cream cheese, stirring until hot and bubbly. Add sugar and salt and pepper. Stir well and serve.
